Lower Cancer Deaths

Fewer cancer patients are dying. Good news. Many of us have lost either a friend or family member to this dreadful disease. Now fewer patients are dying, thanks to earlier detection, better treatment, and less smoking. The percentage of men who smoke has dropped 20% in the last 35 years. Cigarette consumption (usa) is at its lowest level since World War II.
30% of all cancer deaths are related to smoking. But there are about 45 million still smoking in USA. And lung cancer is still the leading cause of cancer deaths.
