Kids get Arthritis

Juvenile Arthritis made the news recently when the first treatment guidelines ever were published in the Journal of American Medical Association. One in every thousand children under 16 have this painful problem. These new guidelines should help doctors help these children.

Serious damage to bones, joints and muscles if left untreated.

There is no cure but researchers deserve credit for taking a close look at almost 300 studies involving children with juvenile arthritis and publishing the best way to help them.
