Bird Flu Pandemic was subject of three day International Meeting. Progress was made in each country taking this threat seriously and promising to be ' transparent ' about any signs of trouble. I commend them all for acting before any pandemic virus appears. Prevention is better than cure.
Its essential all countries do their part. Something this serious does not respect " borders." Its a global problem that, if worse comes to worse, millions of people will die.

"What happens in China and Vietnam is not only going to affect China and Vietnam, but it will affect neighboring countries," Mr. Adams says. "And, I think as has been demonstrated by the movement of the virus that in fact Europe, Eastern Europe has been infected. We are quite concerned…given the migratory paths of birds, we are quite concerned about Africa, although Africa has not been hit yet."
