Prostrate Cancer update

Nearly 30,000 men die every year in the United States from prostate cancer and more than 200,000 are diagnosed. Researchers combined calcitriol and ibuprofen in their test using prostrate tumor cells in lab dishes.

This combination slowed cancer growth up to 70 percent.

That really impressed Dr. David Felman and his colleagues at Stanford University School of Medicine. Clinical trials have already started to learn how this works in men.
